Cape Fear Series: Not A Reboot But An Evolution, Says Patrick Wilson

Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg have reteamed to produce a new version of Cape Fear, but star Patrick Wilson says it's not a reboot. The iconic filmmakers previously united for the 1991 adaptation of John D. MacDonald's The Executioners, the novel's second movie translation, in which attorney Sam Bowden found himself tormented by convicted rapist Max Cady seeking revenge for Bowden giving him an improper defense that sent him to prison for 14 years.
