Dungeons & Dragons - Ravenloft: The Horrors Within Review

Dungeons & Dragons is in a weird place right now, and I'm not referring to Barovia. Even before the 2024 rules revamp for D&D 5e, there were signs that the popular TTRPG franchise was perhaps leaning too heavily into nostalgia. From countless settings returning right before the revamp to the Avengers: Endgame-style Vecna: Eve of Ruin, it felt like we were always revisiting the past. With Ravenloft: The Horrors Within, that becomes even more apparent, but nostalgia and fanservice aren't always a bad combination.
