Despite Assassin's Creed Shadows being one of the best-selling games of 2025, Ubisoft has been incredibly quiet when it comes to revealing any new information for the next entry in the series. While it might not have come from an official announcement, one of the next Assassin's Creed games has recently been confirmed to still be in development by a fairly reliable source.
