Running for almost 60 years, it's little surprise that Star Trek has accumulated some plot holes during its time. The ever-changing design of the Klingons, Khan remembering Chekov, Riker successfully using warp 11 - some of these inconsistencies would eventually be explained, but others remain a mystery even today.
