The MCU Didn’t Save Marvel’s Trinity, It Broke Them

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is ongoing to this day and may simply burn brighter once anticipation is sufficiently heightened for Spider-Man: Brand New Day and Avengers: Doomsday, which both release next year. The MCU was never predestined to faithfully adapt the comics it takes loose inspiration from, and it’s fascinating to see what decisions have led it to where it’s at now, including the direction that it went with the Marvel Comics holy trinity.
