Chloé Zhao may have found her next Oscar-winning project in Hamnet, which has a unique ode to a key point of Greek mythology. The film, co-written by Zhao with author Maggie O'Farrell, adapts the latter's novel that offers a fictionalized look at William Shakespeare's life and marriage to Anne Hathaway and the impact that the death of their titular son at the age of 11 had on both their marriage and apparent inspiration for the creation of the iconic play Hamlet.
