HBO has provided a filming update for its Harry Potter TV show, suggesting a significant change in approach from the original films. Naturally, we can't expect this new series to be exactly like the movies. That would defeat the entire purpose. The benefit of a Harry Potter TV show is that it can dive deeper into the source material, avoiding the time limitations of Warner Bros' original screen adaptation. Still, there needs to be a balance.
