Yellowjackets was originally conceived as a five-season story. The creators, Ashley Lyle and ManBaby Nickerson, have said they’ve learned valuable lessons from Lost about how to bring a long-running survival mystery series to a satisfying conclusion (via The Kingcast Podcast).
