After years of uncertainty, the Pacific Rim franchise is finally making a decisive comeback, just not in the way many initially expected. Rather than a third live-action film, the long-awaited continuation arrives as an official graphic novel sequel titled Pacific Rim: Final Breach, set to release on May 5, 2026. For longtime fans, it represents the first true continuation of the story since 2018’s Pacific Rim: Uprising.
