Crunchyroll's viewership habits dictate multiple patterns in anime, from popularity to hot and trending new series with plenty of genres able to compete. While bigger fandoms drive impressive campaigns to push their series to the top like Solo Leveling's ratings, the Popular tab has shown some impressive series punching above their weight class, beating even Frieren: Beyond Journey's End.
