Jamie Lee Curtis' big-screen remake of Murder, She Wrote is finally moving forward now that a director has been hired. The film is based on the long-running CBS drama, which aired for 12 seasons from 1984 to 1996 (and continued in four movies), with Angela Lansbury starring as Jessica Fletcher, a teacher and mystery author-turned-detective.
