When the expansive Avengers: Doomsday cast was revealed, fans were equally excited about some of the bigger returning stars and perplexed about heroes who were omitted. One surprising exclusion was Chris Pratt, who has played Peter Quill/Star-Lord since 2014 and was teased to return at the end of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3.
