Zootopia 2 has beaten the original movie on another box office battlefield. The Disney animated sequel is a direct follow-up to their 2016 smash hit Zootopia, which grossed $1.024 billion worldwide. Both movies star Ginnifer Goodwin and Jason Bateman as the rabbit Judy Hopps and the fox Nick Wilde respectively, two mismatched denizens of a city populated with anthropomorphic animals.
