Pokémon's Kanto region is a recurring staple of the series, and a new project could provide one of the coolest experiences yet. Along with the many official games that explore Kanto, it's also a common setting for ROM hacks and fan games. Despite all that competition, one upcoming ROM hack is making the ambitious promise of being the "definitive" Kanto experience.
