The showrunner for House of the Dragon shares HBO's first reactions to the upcoming third season, as well as revealing that they have made significant progress on writing the fourth. House of the Dragon season 3 is expected sometime in 2026, likely in late summer, following the critically acclaimed first two installments from the Game of Thrones prequel, based on George R. R. Martin's Fire & Blood.
