Throughout WandaVision, the series heavily implied and set up a path for Wanda Maximoff to be revealed to be a mutant, and now Avengers: Doomsday could potentially see that set-up pay off. The comic book history of a character like Wanda Maximoff is extremely complex and messy, but the MCU somehow managed to further complicate things in WandaVision.
