NCIS has reached a staggering milestone after 23 seasons, cementing its status as a formidable TV franchise. It has been a mixed year for the long-running police procedural. Even though the prequel NCIS: Origins is going strong, NCIS: Tony & Ziva has been cancelled after just one season.
