While lawyers are often the butt of some pretty cruel TV jokes, most small-screen characters who actually work in the legal profession tend to be portrayed in a positive light. Whether it’s Jack McCoy in Law & Order or Diane Lockhart in The Good Fight, the most iconic lawyers on television are usually a force for good in the world.
