A new year is upon us, and 2026 already looks to be incredible for those of us who love video games. Even though January is typically a quieter month for gaming, this year is starting things off with a bang. Whether you're looking forward to Animal Crossing: New Horizons' major update on January 15, Code Violet's sci-fi horror on the 10th, or the PvP action-shooter, Highguard, that launches on the 26th, there's something for everyone.
