A Most Violent Year is an underrated thriller starring Oscar Isaac and Jessica Chastain, which will be available to stream on HBO Max very soon. Directed by J.C. Chandor (Triple Frontier, All Is Lost), the 2014 A24 movie follows an immigrant in New York City, 1981, trying to keep his business afloat and protect his family during the most violent year in the city's history.
