Perry Archangelo Bamonte, the British guitarist, keyboardist and longtime member of The Cure has died at the age of 65 after a short illness at home over Christmas, the band announced. Bamonte’s passing comes at a time of year when fans are reflecting on music that shaped their lives, and tributes have already begun pouring in from across the rock world.
