Heading into 2026, it feels like Star Wars comics are on life support. It has mostly been spinning its wheels, retreading the same creative territory, and playing it safe by sticking to recognizable characters like Luke Skywalker, Kylo Ren, and other fan-favorites. And while Star Wars fans can forgive some repetition, what they can’t abide is the franchise getting boring.
