Apple TV’s For All Mankind is one of the best sci-fi shows streaming today, but a real-life astronaut has pointed out that it has a very fast-and-loose relationship with scientific accuracy. It’s not strictly necessary for science fiction to be scientifically accurate; it can still have great stories and great characters even if it gets the science wrong.
