From Friends’ Mike Hannigan to The Wire’s Gus Haynes, there are some really great TV characters who didn’t show up until the final season of their show. It’s tough introducing a new character in the final season of a show, because the dynamic is already well-established, and they take screen time away from the long-standing characters whose stories are coming to an end.
