Die Hard is one of the best action movies of the 1980s, but I have mixed feelings about it as a Christmas movie. Almost 40 years later, Die Hard still holds up as an exceptional and influential action classic. While it takes place in a single building, it does the most with its premise, delivering exciting spectacle and thrilling suspense.
