No matter what anyone thought of Netflix's adaptation of The Witcher when it began, the series has unquestionably strayed from its original path (and we're not even talking about recasting Henry Cavill). Thankfully, a new version of the story is coming in 2026, and based on early words from the creators, at least one major misstep from the Netflix series can finally be corrected for fans.
