While previously revealing having had talks with the two-time Oscar nominee for his iteration of the series, Gillian Anderson is now clarifying the chances of her return in Ryan Coogler's X-Files. After the two-season revival of the classic sci-fi series, multiple efforts have been made to reboot the franchise, beginning with an animated series before creator Chris Carter revealed that the Sinners director was developing his own.
