Universal and Blumhouse hope Five Nights at Freddy's 2 is another big win at the box office. The studios found more success than imagined with the original film in 2023. Despite releasing simultaneously in theaters and on streaming, Five Nights at Freddy's exceeded box office expectations (making $291 million worldwide) and broke streaming viewership records.
