Brendan Fraser is back with another emotional journey in Rental Family, and he and co-star Takehiro Hira reveal the true core of the film's story. Hailing from 37 Seconds filmmaker Hikari, the movie centers on Phillip Vandarploeug, an American actor living in Japan struggling to make a name for himself in the industry, and for a purpose in life. Suddenly, Phillip finds himself in a unique new position as he begins working for the titular kind of acting agency, in which people play stand-in roles for strangers.
