Pluribus, Apple TV's buzzy new sci-fi drama, has officially broken a streaming record. Hailing from Breaking Bad creator Vince Gilligan, with Better Call Saul star Rhea Seehorn in the lead role, the nine-episode series focuses on Seehorn's Carol Sturka. A successful author of romance novels, who is nonetheless unhappy about her job, the premiere episode of Pluribusdetails how Carol is one of the rare few unaffected by a nightmarish post-apocalyptic scenario.
