Guillermo Del Toro's Frankensteinis finally out in theaters, and despite all my excitement for the adaptation by one of my favorite Gothic fantasy filmmakers of all time, I came back from the theaters with a sense of disappointment. Guillermo Del Toro's Frankenstein adaptation is faithful to the book, but it leaves much more to be desired in its wake.
