Yamcha's infamous defeat at the hands of Saibamen in Dragon Ball Z's Saiyan Saga is paid homage by both Marvel and Godzilla, of all franchises. Yamcha’s defeat in the Z Warriors' fight against the Saibamen was never supposed to be comedic, but he's taken out so quickly that fans couldn't see him lying in a perfectly outlined crater without poking fun at him. The dramatic visual, mixed with such anticlimactic encounter, took this moment to the internet hall of fame.
