From its very beginning, The Pitt carved out a place for itself among the crowded medical-drama landscape by giving each episode genuine emotional weight, and its second season is now confirmed to be more of a gut-punch than its first. The Pitt season 2, which will premiere in nearly 2026, promises to be one even more heartbreaking than its predecessor for a bevy of reasons.
