One of the most recognizable aspects of Venom’s design is his infamous tongue, drawn wildly for decades and made even more iconic by Tom Hardy’s Venom movies. However, many fans may not realize that this grotesque feature wasn’t always part of the character’s design and actually has a fascinating origin story behind how it came to be.
