Gangster movies are among the most acclaimed and popular films of all time, with plenty of contemporary directors delivering modern classics in the 21st century. Although many will point to masterpieces like The Godfather, Scarface, or Goodfellas, it’s impressive just how the films from the past quarter of a century stand up to those legendary releases.
