The 21st century has been the perfect period for both horror shows and revivals. In terms of horror, the genre has thrived on TV and in theaters, as new IPs are rising to prominence. The Walking Dead, Stranger Things, and The Last of Us are the most evident examples, but there has also been Evil, Preacher, Wednesday, and more.
