As if Breath of the Wild wasn't enough of a revolutionary open-world experience in its own right, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom took things to a whole new level with increased verticality and expanded creation mechanics. While both entries have plenty of replayability on their own, the six-year gap between them means it's probably going to be even longer for the next major installment in the franchise.
