A new official release from CBS teases the return of a former member of Leroy Jethro Gibbs in NCIS season 23. One of the longest-running scripted shows on the small screen is making a big comeback in the 2025-2026 TV cycle following a particularly disappointing last season. Even with just a handful of episodes released thus far, NCIS season 23 has already managed to deal with the ramifications of the death of Parker's dad, brought back McGee's Thom E. Gemcity, and even had a crossover special with NCIS: Origins.
